INSTRUCTOR'S NOTE: 1. A USB portable storage device such as a flash drive will be needed for coursework storage. 2. There are several assignments that will require the use of Visual Studio.Net Professional 2008, not the student version. The software is available through ELMS. 3. All students must access CampusCruiser regarding final course grades/transcripts, information postings, financial records, etc. Students in traditional classes must access CampusCruiser for postings regarding assignments, grades, and e-mail. Students in online classes must access WebCT for specific course information regarding assignments and due dates, test dates, and e-mail correspondence; online courses require weekly participation.

DISTANCE LEARNING ATTENDANCE POLICY: In order to avoid access denied status, students should make contact with their instructor within the first three days of class. Attendance in an online class is defined by correspondence and the student is expected to demonstrate, at least once a week, that he/she is actively involved and is corresponding in the class. Examples of activities that can be used to demonstrate this involvement include, but not limited to the following: posting/receiving e-mails, participating in online course discussions via bulletin boards and chat rooms, and completing and submitting course assignments.

Students not meeting the minimum attendance/correspondence requirement may be withdrawn with a grade of "W" or "WF" based upon the student's academic standing at the last date of attendance/correspondence. Email through WebCT will be the primary means of communication, especially when the student is having difficulty answering a question or solving an exercise or a problem. For your instructor to help you effectively, please provide as much information as possible when communicating and it is the student's responsibility to check all virtual correspondence (email, bulletin board) regularly. College Online strongly encourages communication with your instructor.
