DISTANCE LEARNING ATTENDANCE POLICY: In order to avoid access denied status, students should make contact with their instructor within the first three days of class. Attendance is defined by correspondence and the student is expected to demonstrate, at least once a week, that he/she is actively involved and is corresponding in the class. Examples of activities that can be used to demonstrate this involvement include, but not limited to the following: posting/receiving e-mails, voicemail, and completing and submitting course assignments.

Students not meeting the minimum attendance/correspondence requirement may be withdrawn with a grade of "W" or "WF" based upon the student's academic standing at the last date of attendance/correspondence. For your instructor to help you effectively, please provide as much information as possible when communicating. It is the student's responsibility to check all communication correspondence (e-mail, voicemail) regularly. College Online TV strongly encourages communication with your instructor.
