CATALOG COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course shall present information relevant to prehospital care at the paramedic level as approved and outlined by the 1999 revised DOT National Standard Paramedic curriculum. In some cases, because of the diverse background of students, this course will serve as a refresher but the program will, in most cases, exceed the requirements of a refresher course to provide enrichment to the student.

Rasmussen INSTRUCTOR E-MAIL: jarasmussen@alum.rpi.edu INSTRUCTOR'S NOTE: N/A DISTANCE LEARNING ATTENDANCE POLICY: Attendance in an online class is defined by correspondence and the student is expected to demonstrate, at least once a week, that he/she is actively involved and is corresponding in the class. Examples of activities that can be used to demonstrate this involvement include, but not limited to the following: posting/receiving e-mails, participating in online course discussions via bulletin boards and chat rooms, and completing and submitting course assignments.
