The First Day of the Semester
On the first day of the semester, students are expected to Log In. Your personalized WebCT page is your access to a successful online semester! If all online courses on your schedule are not listed on your personal WebCT page, let us know.
Publisher’s Access Codes are required for many online courses. Access Codes are included in the purchase of a new textbook. If you find that your course requires an access code, and one was not included with your textbook purchase, go to Purchase Access Codes

Explore each icon inside the course web: Read Course Information and view the WebCT Tutorial provided to introduce the many tools of WebCT. Greet your instructor and classmates via the Discussion Board and private Mail, accessed on the Course Toolbar. Note the Calendar for semester milestones and due dates. Click on Assessments and Assignments to see assignments, quizzes, and tests. Your instructor has provided a great deal of information for you. Please read critically!
The first day of class is similar to that of a traditional class; instructors may post an announcement banner, or do a discussion board introduction, or include an introductory assignment on the calendar. Be sure to log in again during the add/drop period and watch for updates.
