Remember, rules for classroom behavior are always the same, whether you're in a traditional lecture course or taking a class online. You will be expected to participate and contribute in a positive way. Your instructor expects you to read your text and follow instructions carefully. Thoughtful, well-constructed questions raise relevant learning issues, promote discussion, and serve as a great value to other learners. During discussions and other class communications, you are expected to be courteous to your classmates and instructor.
Just as an "in-person" class requires full participation, you should come to your online or video course prepared to learn and abide by the rules of common courtesy. If you become frustrated or have concerns, make an appointment via email with the instructor to resolve concerns in an appropriate way.
